Seems I'm more than a little behind with this trend, as it was all the rage about a summer ago to make these DeviantArt Fighter IDs, where you draw yourself as a character in a fighting game and make a game sprite of yourself and give yourself stats and such.

I thought it was a cool idea, but I don't care for fighting games. As a bit of an automotive enthusiast, I decided a racing game is more up my alley. I ended up using my Mario Kart nickname, and CB Radio handle of "Cadillac Al" as it seemed more appropriate. Additionally, I changed the stat bars, because I think the standard asterisks were a little boring. Sure it means mine doesn't match everyone else's, but hey, variety is the spice of life!

So that's me and my car, a 1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, one of the last few true American Luxury Sedans! It's the sort of car Wario would drive, so it gets similar stats to his ride from the Mario Kart series. Actually, that's pretty much how it is in real life. Why, this could practically be a dealer's brochure.

In the picture, I'm wearing my favorite blue shirt, my favorite leather jacket, and my favorite retro Ray-Ban sunglasses. I am also eating pizza, which could be my favorite food.

*edit - I added in a "manual/automatic" transmission select doodley, since all the hip arcade games seem to offer that choice. However, Cadillac hasn't made a car with a manual transmission since, like, 1910. Rich people don't have time to shift for themselves, man!

** edit edit - Sorry, Cadillac did make a manual car in the 1980's called the "Cimmaron". It was basically a dressed up Chevrolet chassis that was trying to appeal to the younger, cheaper crowd. The car failed miserably. I'm sure we can all learn a lesson from THAT.
